Why people switch to QR Code Desk
No hostage codes
Many "free" generators quietly put their own link inside your code, then switch it off after a trial and ask you to pay. Our dynamic codes keep redirecting even if you cancel.
Edit after printing
Printed 5,000 flyers with the wrong link? Change where a dynamic code points in a few seconds. No reprint.
Know what works
See scans by day, city and device for every flyer, menu, sign or package, and find out which placement brings customers.

Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes expire?
A static QR code never expires on its own: the link is stored inside the pattern itself. Codes "expire" when a generator puts its own short link inside your code and switches that link off after a free trial. QR Code Desk never does that: static codes from our free generator contain your link directly, and our dynamic codes keep redirecting even if you cancel your plan.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code points straight to your link and can never be changed. A dynamic code points to a short link that you control, so you can change where it goes after printing and see how many people scanned it, when, and from where.
Is the free QR code generator really free?
Yes. Static codes are free forever, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on scans. Download as PNG or SVG and use them commercially.
Can I add my logo and colors?
Yes. Pick your colors, the dot and corner style, and upload your logo in the generator above. Keep strong contrast between the code and the background so every phone can scan it.
What happens to my dynamic codes if I stop paying?
They keep working. Printed codes keep redirecting to their last destination; you just can't edit them or see new analytics until you're back on a paid plan. Your printed materials are never held hostage.
